The Klamath River flows 257 miles from a broad patchwork of lakes and marshes at the foot of the Cascade Mountains on the California-Oregon border, and winds southwest into California. The river passes through five hydropower dams and the reaches the Pacific Ocean south of the fishing community of Crescent City in California.
The Klamath is recognized as an outstanding whitewater boating river with many class II-IV+ rapids. It typically has warm water and a long boating season. There are many things to do on the river that provides a spectacular and profound river experience.
